Marengo Belt Bag

Kmana bags are entirely hand-made and all the materials locally sourced. We work with small workshops and use up-cycled vegetable tanned calf leather from verified family-run tanneries in Java minimising the chemicals used in the tanning process.

Certified upcycled buttery sheep leather sourced from one of the oldest tanneries in Java, Budi Makmur. Every bag has a different lining, depending on what the weavers have produced and is available in stock.

For the first month of use, avoid taking the bags out in the rain.  Regularly clean the leather with a soft brush or cloth, and air out your piece. Keep the leather supple with a specialized leather conditioner at least once every 3-4 months. All of the hardware on our bags is made from solid brass cast and will darken over time as the metal oxidizes.  Should you wish to polish it back up, you can use any available brass polish.
