This midi dress was made after years of pondering. It gives a subtle hat-tip to the kebaya panjang, featuring a tall neck and a lengthy, defined shape. Designed to hit at tunic length, knee-high slits were added for extra movement freedom. It even has a back zipper and pockets on each side.

This piece is available to pre-order only. Dispatches in late September.

Sizing: Take your usual size. Waist darts give the dress shape. For a looser fit, we recommend to size up.

Sophiea is wearing Size M. This is a fit closer to her body. For a looser fit, Size L will fit her best. Her measurements are 36" bust, 29" waist, 38" hips, 158cm.

Gypsied breathes new life into batik and handwoven textiles through their contemporary designs. They work with artisan communities in South East Asia to support the region’s collective heritage. Every piece tells a story, connecting the wearer to the stories embedded in each piece of batik.

Silk screen batik on certified organic OEKO-TEX® certified organic cotton. Unlined.

Hand wash on cold to retain its colours and beauty. Machine washable in a laundry bag at 30° max on a gentle cycle.
